Saint Anthony Square
We are in the Square of San Antonio, commonly known as Plaza de las Pérgolas, chaired by the image brought from Italy of San Antonio de Padua, a saint of Portuguese origin known for his many miracles and interceding to get a good boyfriend or girlfriend. Back to the saint, we can see the Tree of Peace, brought from Jerusalem, which was planted by people from different continents as a gesture of unity among different cultures and religions, within the International Conference on Charities and Volunteers that took place in 2003.
Nos encontramos en la Plaza de San Antonio, vulgarmente conocida por la Plaza de las Pérgolas, presidida por la imagen traída desde Italia de San Antonio de Padua, santo de origen portugués conocido por sus muchos milagros y también por interceder para conseguir un buen novio/a. De espaldas al santo, aparece el Árbol de la Paz, traído de Jerusalén, que fue plantado por personas de distintos continentes como gesto de unión entre las diferentes culturas y religiones, dentro de las Jornadas Internacionales de Caridad y Voluntariado que se realizaron en 2003.
